Linville Hill Christian School is currently seeking a compassionate, adaptable and dedicated Middle School Learning Support Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have the tools and strategies to succeed academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small-group instruction to middle school students with learning disabilities or other special educational needs

Push into the regular classroom and offer support to students

Collaborate with general education teachers to design and implement differentiated instruction that meets the needs of all students

Utilize a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles and ensure that each student can access the curriculum in a way that best supports their learning

Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s degree or better in Education, Human Services, Social Work, or related field

Experience working with middle school students in a learning support setting is highly desirable, but not necessary

Knowledge of different learning styles, disabilities, and strategies for supporting diverse learners

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
