Mission Statement
Linville Hill Christian School is a community of faith where students learn to think deeply about who God is as they discover their God-given purpose in preparation for a lifetime of service to the King.
Purpose Statement
Teach and train students in accordance with the fundamental goals of education such as the development of character, command of fundamental processes, preparation for further education and/or vocation, and worthy use of time.
Integrate all teaching and activity with the knowledge of God, as revealed in His word, and His authorship of all things.
Explain the Holy Scriptures so that the students may know God as He has revealed Himself, for "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the Holy is understanding."
Help the child learn the true purpose of his life as being rightly related to God, enabling him to adjust properly to his society and to the world.
Meet the daily attendance, health, and curriculum guidelines prescribed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for non-profit, religious educational institutions.
Provide an equal opportunity for education for all eligible students regardless of race, sex, nationality, or ethnic origin.

What We Believe
In 1944 a group of conservative Mennonite families in Gap were looking for an opportunity to establish a school that taught faith in Christ alongside academics. At the same time, Paradise Township was consolidating its public schools and a one-room schoolhouse on South Kinzer Road went up for auction. These families bought the schoolhouse and Linville Hill Mennonite School was born. Since that inaugural year, our community has been committed to building a school that would honor the Lord and partner with families to train their children to follow Him.
While our community has become increasingly more diverse, now serving families from more than 70 different congregations, we remain committed to the principles highlighted in our Core Values and the Statement of Faith that have guided our program for most of the last 70 years.
